Ah, I forgot to click like on this until now, sorry!
I said it reminded me of my poem “Silence, Twilight’s Grey Intermission”, but I neglected to mention it also reminded me of my 21-line fusion sonnet “Resilience, Skyline’s Vermilion Intermission” I posted on August 23, 2014 at http://21shadesofblue.com/2014/08/23/resilience-skylines-vermilion-intermission-21-line-fusion-sonnet-mor-3-18-0040-02/
I would be very happy if you edited your post and put your own English translation of your Russian poem below it, so I could reblog it and people understand it! I think the average reader is not going to try to translate it, unless they are really committed to reading poetry and already know you are an excellent and unique poet, or if they are birds-of-a-feather like the Hallowed Canary and the Scourged Red-Winged Blackbird! I recommend changing the title to include the title in Russian and English too, to more easily draw the attention in of English and Russian speaking poets!
I subscribe to a poet named Valeriu at http://valeriudgbarbu.wordpress.com/ who posts poems in 3 languages, which is pretty neat, and I really think you would get more exposure over time if you did the same! Just your editor friend’s suggestion! 😀

Beautiful! It reminded me of my poem “Silence, Twilight’s Grey Intermission”! I’d love to see you translate posts into Russian and English! It seems we have more similar thoughts than I first supposed!
“Silence, Twilight’s Grey Intermission”

Elizabeth, or was it
Eleanor of Aquitaine?
Is there any difference
if all you are is a dream
stitched in memory — a wish,
my favorite cup of tea
I never got to drink with
open eyes, imagining
a relic of summertime
recollected when a child
was the taste of love, sunshine
swallowed swimming that July
Such a sentimental smuck
I approached Adrienne, ’cause
she changed her pseudonym from
what it was, to Sunspot, but
convinced myself, was more than
I could hope to understand —
I just needed a muse, and
she seemed elusive too, sad
Such beautiful things
seen and sought for harvesting
outside EverEve
Appearances can deceive
and sweetness be worth nothing
Elizabeth, or was it
Adrienne, carbon-copied?
Is there any difference
if all you are is a dream
stitched in memory — a wish,
my favorite cup of tea
I never got to drink with
open eyes, imagining
like the Adriatic Sea,
her name sounding like “A dream”,
I could settle, stop searching,
give make-believe love meaning,
romanticizing the past
pretending that presents last,
moments can be frozen and
I did it knowing, perhaps
believing if I didn’t,
my closed eyes would keep the lids
on the secrets that I’ve lived
fearing love does not exist
“I think I saw you in my sleep, darling. I think I saw you in my dreams you were stitching up the seams on every broken promise that your body couldn’t keep. I think I saw you in my sleep. I thought I heard the door open, oh no, I thought I heard the door open but I only heard it close. I thought I heard a plane crashing, but now I think it was your passion snapping. I think you saw me confronting my fear, it went up with a bottle and went down with the beer and I think you ought to stay away from here. There are ghosts in the walls and they crawl in your head through your ear. I think I saw you in my sleep, lover. I think I saw you in my dreams you were stitching up the seams on every mangled promise that your body couldn’t keep. I think I saw you in my sleep. I know that someday you’ll be sleeping, darling. Likely dreaming off the pain. I hope you’ll hear me in streetlight’s humming, softly breathing out your name. I know that even with the seams stitched tightly, darling scars will remain. I say we scrape them from each other, darling, and let them wash off in the rain. And when they run into the river, oh no, let the water not complain. I swear that even with the distance, slowly wearing out your name, your hands still catch the light the right way and our hearts still beat the same… and our hearts still beat the same.”

Hmm… I have a couple ‘verses-twins’.
OK, not the twins. Just the blood relatives 🙂

Thank you for this, it’s lovely! No tweezers needed! Amazing!
