Erm… hullo there. (This is rather awkward…)
Dear Reader, the stuff that was originally posted here has been removed.

We won’t allow our Dear Readers to fade away in the dark. We’ll send you the piece in question, and it will be absolutely free. All you need do is ask.
* Of course, we would be like two happy puppies if you too decided to buy one of our books.

It is like an epic – the warrior’s death as a stand for life, transcribed for the people by lover-as-historian/witness.

Actually, I like that take, Claire. I think it’s as valid as any that have been posited so far. 🙂

This is so lovely and compelling: “i’d sooner take a bucket to sand

Thank you. It’s truly how I felt when I wrote it about the girl in question (and still feel), so I’m very pleased that it spoke to you! 🙂

Bravo! Bellisimo! This poem makes me wish we English language speakers, readers & musician had the same habit as the Spanish language speakers, readers & musicians do so this poem could be sung and the who;e world could hear it! 😉 ❤
Peace, love & poetry for all,
Sherrie

Aw, thanks Sherrie! Yeah, I kinda wish I had some musical talent actually. I’d definitely like to turn this a dark folk song of some kind. 😛
