Words after words double march
in not just your war
Unwritten poems upon poems pile up
in bleeding hearts
…the squeaking hinges
let love in through the leaves
seize your pen my co- warrior
Press the ink, take a hit
This war soon be over
Heals writing; you are worth more than this

This is a revolution poem for revolutionary writers. Love it. Ink and paper and education are our biggest weapons.

The “soonness” of the end of the war is a topic of rather subjective interpretation
Write yes, but in my opinion it’s possibly to no end really – at most it passes time, occupies us and might just help temporarily drain out some of our excess emotional discharges
I admire your positive perspective towards the end, but I personally don’t have the capacity to even be in agreement
Beautiful piece of writing though

Yes, sometimes writing is much needed catharsis, and sometimes it does nothing at all. I suppose it can depend on the person, their temperament at the time of writing, and many other factors. Thank you for your perspective, Simone. 😀

Completely agree, I guess I’m in a place where everything seems like a vain attempt at chasing the wind
But you still stop to smell the roses along the way

On the first place it is always self reflection and self cure. But poems are music and music it is a sign of Devine. Keep writing😉
