Every day is perfect if we leave it alone and don’t try to do something with it. Once we try to make improvements here and there, everything goes down the drain. The whirlpool of truth favours no one.
I believe it’s the same with people. Look at that overweight guy who walks up the street day after day, chowing down on a hamburger. Perfect! Don’t ever try and tell him he needs to start dieting or to fasten a shoelace. He might trip and end up rolling into a storm water drain or something. What a disaster that would be!

Sometimes we find control hard. Very hard – you know like drinking till we get drunk. If only we didn’t do all these things, life would be as should. Much much better.

Alas, I feel as though not many of us cultivate that kind of self control. I certainly don’t. I should, but… well.

I feel you , Tony and Tati ( not literally though). Life has given us a limited number of fucks (TLC claims 4223 ), and I’d rather spend them in the bed. Too many of a good thing has been spoiled because of our meddling or trying to make it better.

There are so many facets of what you wrote that we could comment on, but we don’t wanna meddle and spoil what was a good thing! 😮

Somehow everything is as everything should be – and when it’s not, there’s generally bugger all that you and I can do about it.

Really not, but thanks 😜

Actually, if the man on the street only eats one meal a day–the hamburger–it is a pretty low amount of calories for a day, plus, walking everyday like he does, is good exercise for him. You might be stereotyping him wrongly!

See? You’re gettin’ it! We just cleverly taught you a life lesson there. (Or maybe we really were being quite judgmental and now we’re trying to cover our tracks…)
