Is a care home the same as a U.S. nursing home? If so, such visits would be welcomed by those near the end of life, abandoned by everyone they know and love.
This may be a chiller on the humor intended by the poem, but the nursing homes could use a bit more traffic. However, I would not recommend taking your kids there instead of the zoo.

“Visit a care home.” –if you’re speaking about a nursing care facility, those can be even scarier. The way some of the residents are treated and how the staff operates without a care in the world?! *shudders*
