Levigated & Levitated

The mill had a dream.
One beautiful windy night
it was brave enough
for taking off from a foot
awkwardly waving its sails.

The mill had a dream.
Flying across the black sky,
milling ripe gold stars
and leaving behind itself
The Subsieve Mealy Way.

  1. I got here from the Cinerarium, followiing embedded links. I like the way you interweave poems so as to get a very special sort of narrative, linking poem after poem. The “angels” that populate this particular set are intriguing and down-to-earth, simply mortals facing fate in other realms of “existence.” This implies a metaphysical view explored in the poems themselves, which are open-ended and bear different interpretations.

    Great site, indeed!

    • Valhjim, this is quite simply one of the most thoughtful comments we’ve received here on Unbolt. I love how you’ve mentioned that our poems are open-ended and bear different interpretations because, of course, that has always been our express intent. Thank you so much for visiting and exploring our little corner of the internet! 😀
