Oops!… We Did It Again (merman’s ode to mammon)

Erm… hullo there. (This is rather awkward…)

Dear Reader, the stuff that was originally posted here has been removed.

We have done this because said stuff has since been included in one of our published books. We hope you’ll believe us when we say we’re not trying to be stingy. No, this has been done to honour the people who have already spent their hard-earned money on our eBook creations.*

If, however, for some reason you’re unable to buy one of our books, and feel you’ll die without seeing this piece of writing, then please contact us via admin@unbolt.me. We won’t allow our Dear Readers to fade away in the dark. We’ll send you the piece in question, and it will be absolutely free. All you need do is ask.

* Of course, we would be like two happy puppies if you too decided to buy one of our books.

  1. You forget the cabin boy climbing the greasy pole, using daggers in the backs of those that still have souls….
Sorry to intervene but this is something close to my heart.
I can define meritocracy as a charter for the arse kisser and back stabber, driving the worlds destruction. Thankyou Unbolt I loved this. And I imagined it being read by Mr Krabs lol! Ahar!

    • You’re right, I did forget that, zigzagstripes. I shouldn’t leave out the cabin boy next time! As for arse kissers and back stabbers, I think you’re spot on there. It’s a pretty ugly culture that encourages that sort of behaviour, don’t you think? Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

  2. Ah, this one merits many kudos… I sea we’re swimming in the same stream of thought; where’s my sharkskin suit? And the commodities, too! But I may already be gutted and ready for the shute ~ definitely no cash or kisses! 😉

    • I’m glad you liked this one, Babe. It beggars belief that the majority still think we can continue the way we have without there being any serious consequences for society and our planet in general.
