Worst cup I ever had came from White Castle, I’m talking the crudest instant dregs. That somehow made it the best coffee for the three hour road trip with my brother.
That’s actually a pretty cool way of looking at it. I love the smell of fresh bread, and will happily walk past a bakery even if I have no intention of buying. 🙂

I’ve never understood the appeal of coffee. I have vainly tried to like it down through the years, but have never been successful in this.

Coffee is rarely as good as it smells. Which is not true of fresh bread.
Maybe the aroma should be its own reward.
