Erm… hullo there. (This is rather awkward…)
Dear Reader, the stuff that was originally posted here has been removed.
We have done this because said stuff has since been included in one of our published books. We hope you’ll believe us when we say we’re not trying to be stingy. No, this has been done to honour the people who have already spent their hard-earned money on our eBook creations.*
If, however, for some reason you’re unable to buy one of our books, and feel you’ll die without seeing this piece of writing, then please contact us via admin@unbolt.me. We won’t allow our Dear Readers to fade away in the dark. We’ll send you the piece in question, and it will be absolutely free. All you need do is ask.
* Of course, we would be like two happy puppies if you too decided to buy one of our books.

Yes, yes, yes: this is true, this poem. I wish it were not, but there is something that opens up in that pain –I think it is some kind of distance– that is really beautiful. “In this life, all our symphonies go unfinished”, Karl Rahner once said.

What a beautiful quote, and true. It’s wonderful to have you visit with us, Gregory. I hope you’ve been well! 😀

Love your work, both of you: I miss being on Unbolt more often, and am never better off or happier whenever life’s exigencies prevent me from visiting!

A gently goodbye. I enjoyed reading this although I found it seemly sad.

Aw, thanks, James. It’s true. I do seem to write a fair bit of sad poetry at times. 😛

Departure songs always bring difficultly of expression into our mythic waves. Now you must embark upon your own Anabasis. Good work, the heart is felt, the decision known, explore the depth of things felt until your goodbyes are all burnt up and the awakening new city town woods shoreline is upon you, upon you to find the gates opening to your own exploration conquered, boxes of the soul unpacked, powers of your heart beating, for it will come, it will be if truly you set sail, as such, upon new lands. Dig!

I wish I could say I did not know what it means but alas! I DO know. Isn’t it the worst when stories you think will keep on writing themselves just….STOP. JUST LIKE THAT? Either due to a dent in heartbeats or in affection – EITHER WAY, IT’S HELL. *sighs*
