I tried to leave the timestream once, but my significant other would not come along. I do not mind being alone some of the time but not all of the time.
I’m the same. I don’t think I could be a complete hermit. It’s an attractive prospect at times, but not entirely compatible with my need to stay tethered to this world (and people help me to do that).
Oh Tony, this one is just great! I love how you put Kafka on the Shore in there as well and the shimmering galaxy in the demons body! I agree there was some bibble babble from the demon that make my head spin, nevertheless I loved reading the words and looking at how you created this drawing/cartoon again! Thank you for sharing ♥
I’d just finished reading Kafka on the Shore before I finalised the script for this Crumble Cult. I decided to insert that line at the end for those who might get the reference. (I knew you would.) Thank you for always supporting me in my endeavours, Elly. It means a lot. 😀
Truly masterful. Overripe for the mainstream. I am reminded that I have been soliloquying not one but five angels in my life, and only ever found there to be a modicum of dialog when I was burning the weed to clear the view along my path…makes me think…no…they are messengers and helpers…aren’t they?
I guess it depends on the viewpoint of the individual as to whether or not that’s true. As for me, I try not to make such grand, generalised statements as I have no way of definitively knowing their veracity.
I mean, seriously, what do I know? Not as much as I think I do, and perhaps just enough to at least survive.
I really love your comment. It’s pleasingly provocative and gives me pause for thought. Thanks so much for visiting with us! 😀
So much for the battle between good and evil. Narcissistic devil, tries, unsuccessfully, to engage indifferent angel. The soul market must be flush with all the snarking and lambasting filling so many minds. Maybe that is why they can afford repartee, and ennui. They seem ready to avoid any efforts to damn or redeem
Tony, by now you must know, though you bastardize at every corner, you are a master communicator. You and Tati are an amazing duo, at least for me. There are few places and people I can open up to. You guys are tops, I enjoy playing with you. You make it fun!
Likewise! And you’re being terribly flattering of our meager talents! We just like to play, so it’s nice when like-minded people so openly appreciate that. 😀

I enjoyed this piece! Is it weird I felt sorry for that old narcissistic demon? 🙂

Naw, it’s not weird at all! It means that you have compassion! And he’s not such a bad egg really. 😛

Allegedly, although I do wonder how much help my angels have ever been (if indeed they exist). 😛

What?! You think free-thinking is under siege? How this possibly be, in America?

Well I certainly don’t know all that much, since I probably misunderstood the meaning of your piece. But I won’t let it stress me out!😊

Hahaha, this is so brilliant! 🤣
Twisted. And true.
I often hate living in the timestream, too.

My friend, you have the full measure of this scenario. I’m really quite delighted! (Especially at your last sentence.) 😉
