poetry is cold and empty like outer space
like voracious cronus who devours his own sons
no matter how many verses you’ve thrown to the gorge
it burps out, calling for more
poetry is cold and empty like outer space
there are always moons where no foot may tread
no matter how loud you’ve shouted to the craters
it echoes out, calling for more
poetry is cold and empty like outer space
stellar wind drives tumbleweeds through the milky way
no matter how far you’ve overstepped the bounds
it erases out, calling for more

Calling for more poetry, sounds like a good idea, can’t have too much!

I often think of poems as little linguistic singularities….pulling their various bits to their bosom….

Whoah! That’s a whole lotta technical jargon there! 😛

It is, but it’s heartwarming as well. What would be do without it?

Indeed! What would we do? Probably all play sports or something (kinda my idea of hell really) . 🙂

Line that caught me in the gut: “..no matter how many verses you’ve thrown to the gorge
it burps out, calling for more”

Yes, that really got me too! Tati has a way of really encapsulating the futility of that moment…
