let’s not run away
next time they hunt us down
let’s stay there and look
at their bewildered faces
let’s sit on the dirty curb
have a smoke (though both of us don’t)
and watch as they’re chased away
by a freezing november rain

Depends on what you’re smoking. I used to smoke everything, and I miss sitting on the dirty curb, sharing that moment.

I don’t think I’ve smoked anything in my entire life. I’m not sure why, to be honest…

Smoking on the porch is less about smoking, more about pondering. I’d love to smoke a pipe, sitting on my rocking chair, without a care in the world.
