a fish shaped pillow
thrown to the secondhand shore
gasps amid rubbish
and nobody really cares
it’s an endangered species

phthalovision
air is especially fancy tonight
violet and green
a beatific palette of dappled light
both seen and unseen
my breath is deep, mind is still, and now
all is colour and chime
a local chemical plant, take a bow
for my zen inspiration respiration time

eyes taped to the sky
spin around a world of rue
the silence that hems

gaslit & ghosted
then left to grey abandon
why were you not told

translucent in dreams
the tree of lungs inside you
breathes true outside you
