I’ve been with some people a long time and I wonder if I’ll ever know them. Maybe they change with me.

I think we all stay the same… and change. We’re all walking paradoxes in a way. 😉

Tony, with all the thos there is a slight nod to The Bard there. Also I get a feeling there’s an adherence to a poetic form here but as I’m a bit foggy this morn, the technique escapes me.

Thank you for stopping by again, Talia. I really do appreciate that you take the time to do so! As for what that poetic form is… well, it’s really just one of my devising is all. 😛

Oh My, Tony–I LOVE LOVE LOVE the language in this! “I fain” and “nowhere left to hinge my mind” are my absolute faves–in fact the latter is one I desperately wish I’d written (so envious!)–Bravo!!

Wonderful poem. I feel bad for her. There seems no way for her to see her lover!

Oh Tony, I feel sad in my heart. You’ve worked incredibly hard with this one and it shows. I’m proud and happy and everything fluffy. X

Thank you, Annie. Yes, this one took me about a week to write. There was quite a while there when it wasn’t coming together, but then it all seemed to click at the eleventh hour! 🙂
