Beautiful! Fortunately, that piano does still play foe me! 😉 ❤
Peace, bro,
Sherrie
Sherrie Miranda's historically based, coming of age, Adventure novel “Secrets & Lies in El Salvador” is about an American girl in war-torn El Salvador:

Her husband made a video for her novel. He wrote the song too:

Thanks so much. It was certainly written from that feeling, so I’m glad that I managed to convey that to you! 🙂

“nowhere left to hinge my mind” — was the cardinal line on my first read.
this whole poem seemed to me, on first read, as though delivered from further away, while your eyes lost focus, and there is something beautiful about that.

There is certainly a remoteness present in the poem, Gregory. I’m pleased someone picked up on that! Thanks for reading, and for your thoughtful comments as always. 🙂

I’ll never stop reading your work, for as long as you two keep putting it out there.

I have no idea how I thought up this way of putting it but I’m glad I did. I think because that’s how it’s felt to me at times… 🙂

I’m slow

Slow? That’s one thing you’re definitely not, Sheldon. 😉

P.S This song is for your poem. It fits perfect. Hope you love it.

That’s a nice song, Charlie. It’s a fitting choice, don’t you think? 🙂

Yes, very much so. I was trying to find another song for it. But I quickly thought of Bush and that song I grew up listening to. 🙂

My favorite lines of you:
the river has flowed on and long, dust gathers on the heath
i don’t know where to find you
and tho’ the grass is greener now, i unknow a profound knowing
and yet know, and won’t ever not know
I feel this poem. Its very moving and wow!!!
I don’t know where to find you…I feel this in a way like if two lovers we’re to be trapped in a maze or dream like state. Would they find each other in the end? This is my interpretation to your poem. I love it very very much. 🙂

I like your take on this, Charlie, and it’s wonderful to hear that it moved you. That’s exactly the response I was hoping for! 🙂
