I like yours loads but can’t resist quoting another poem of which it reminds me:
The yellow fog that rubs its back upon the window-panes,
The yellow smoke that rubs its muzzle on the window-panes,
Licked its tongue into the corners of the evening,
Lingered upon the pools that stand in drains,
Let fall upon its back the soot that falls from chimneys,
Slipped by the terrace, made a sudden leap,
And seeing that it was a soft October night,
Curled once about the house, and fell asleep.
hardly kind, my dear friend … appreciating your marvellous creations – wishing you well and may we be the recipients of more , much more ! cheers, my brother Tony ✊✌👍
I can’t resist joining the love fest here – LOVE the poem. LOVE the kitty –

Oh, now that is GOOD. I think Tati’s going to feel quite honoured that her effort reminded you of Eliot’s poem! 😉

I forgot to mention how much I like the illustration to go with the poem. It, too, is purrfect.

Aw, thank you, Susanne! The idea behind it was all Tati’s. I merely drew the thing. 😀

“Merely” drew? Good grief, Tony, your drawing is as essential to the poem as the poem is to your drawing. Can you imagine the Coq without the vin?

Well, that’s a fair point actually. I stand (or, rather, sit here) corrected! 😀

“languorously” is the purrfect adjective to go with purr.

I’m thinking that too, Susanne. Something so warm and relaxed about that, don’t you think?
