Very nice post. Here in Panamá, we have avocados daily with our evening meal. They vary in size, texture, price and taste depending on the cultivar. Almost always, we simply have them sliced and lightly salted but sometimes we put them in a wonderful arugula, red onion, garlic, tomato salad.

Oh delicious in word and taste.
You guys are wonderfully creative!
Will make you jealous now.
At its peak season recently here in the eastern side of South Africa, a bag of 16 big, creamy avocados cost €2.70 per bag. Every season, for a while, we have guacamole running in our veins, and no, we never get enough.
Thank you also for appreciating my writing on https://nothingcluelesslost.com

Avocados are like potatoes for the rich. I wouldn’t like to consider myself a couch potato, cuz couch avocados are full of healthy fats 😛

Yeah, let’s be couch avocados! Nice! 😛

Well, they are not evergreen/ young. They turn this nasty color of brown as they get older. But that was such a great poem!

Aw, thank you! And I hear you on the avo thing. They do tend to spoil rather quickly. Fortunately, though, most relationships aren’t like that. 😛
