Every day is perfect if we leave it alone and don’t try to do something with it. Once we try to make improvements here and there, everything goes down the drain. The whirlpool of truth favours no one.
I believe it’s the same with people. Look at that overweight guy who walks up the street day after day, chowing down on a hamburger. Perfect! Don’t ever try and tell him he needs to start dieting or to fasten a shoelace. He might trip and end up rolling into a storm water drain or something. What a disaster that would be!

100 WORD SKITTLE // Advice and Philosophy
Advice and philosophy could be fraternal twins; the first, people take as direction, or judgement, while the other, more like a muse, watching clouds on a summer day. Another way to view them is that philosophy begets advice, revealing how one’s point of view guides thoughts of how to improve people and the world. If these two twins were at a party attended by many unrelated people, “Philly” would be in the middle of a group of partygoers he just met, laughing and debating the state of the world, while “Addy” would be mixing another drink, thinking about going home.

Jeez, that really made me think, Von! Yeah, I would definitely put us in the ‘philosophy’ camp…

I am more inclined to think that Addy would be the uninvited guest at most parties 😛
By the way, loved the names of the twins.

Where’s Noah when you need him? (Whoah! How did he get into this scenario all of a sudden?)

That is a fantastic philosophy for life which goes one further than *if it’s not broke don’t fix it* to *if it’s broke, that’s how it’s meant to be*. Which resonates well with my own philosophy of *everything’s working out perfectly*.

I would prefer not to leave the house altogether. Then I could avoid such decisions completely! 😜

But… do you encounter no moments of required decisions while within the house? Such as whether to answer the phone? Have tea, or coffee? Read my latest post, or another’s?

Damn. Yeah, I do! I forgot about that… 😛

Walk up to him and ask to share his burger? Alternatively, buy him another one? Oh yeah, leave well alone…

Yup, there are many options one could take, but sometimes leaving well alone is better.

Has it ever occurred to you chickens judge from a distance but it takes courage to befriend that person. Perhaps he has a medical condition you do not know about.
