a storm sky frowning
green man flashing on the street
passersby hide heads
as he bares what they most dread
red traffic light’s long countdown

I had to look this unfamiliar word “shibuya “up to search its meaning and after a few clicks I was schooled (educated) on this busy bustling culture of Shibuya Crossing in Japan. I have a 12 year old who is in love with Tokyo and the pop group BTS. I will impress her tonight by sharing your poem! Clever word play that the word “buy”is in the name Shibuya, referencing the enticing shopping district of Japan. I can only imagine thousands of people at Shibuya crossing hurrying to and from their busy lives like a trillion worker ants on a mission to survive. Awesome poem thanks for sharing!

But…..
Can it be harvested in the night and eaten by the day??

Must be because of the pandemic.

I think the pandemic has made many of us feel a little desperate, that’s for sure. 😛
