nothing but regret
is this how we truly are
i think i feel us
enclasped in this tested life
have you forgotten to breathe
today was better
but we’re so very old now
grief soaken eyes now
has pain dimmed your sight
trauma lines your folded bones
the horizon’s dreams
banish away sun’s last light
can we forgotten aright
today was better
but you’re so very cold now
closed soaken eyes now

Interesting how autumn can evoke both happy and sad feelings. It’s the first one for me, but of course I know things mean differently for different people.

So sad, so depressing.

One of these days I might write a happy poem. I’m not sure if I have one in me though. 😛

That was not criticism, just a feeling.

Yes, that’s definitely how I took it, but I should have made this clear… so, apologies for that, Dolly! 😀

Life is never easy, we all have, different traumas in our lives, and, many of us can’t, ever come then, because we can’t find a way back to the past to change a thing…
