jesus harold christ
changes a bicycle chain
croaks at ill weather
does not see the stillborn crows
falling out of trees’ bosoms

why do they add the aitch between
and how is that meant to be offensive?
jesus and christ, middle name harold
likes long walks on the beach and hurling frisbees
what’s so contemptible about that?

To gaze upon your beauty
one last time
I stand waiting
and wanting
As you slowly
walk away
The closeness of
our hearts
has now made
these feelings
grow apart
That these
two hearts
are no
longer
one
The love
we shared
is now
from afar
Stepping
as you
walk
each
stone
is now
our
broken
Heart

i kiss the road with my bare feet
the ground’s womb heat my sole to keep
i am the lover, it the bed sheet
i imprint upon reality’s sleep
i make love in gentle dust
with intuition, shuffle and brush
a happenstance witness, stray wind’s gust
it scarpers in a flustered rush

A cat duet.
A silhouette.
A high brick wall,
An awful squall.
A moonlit night,
A mortal fight.
A man in bed,
Sticks out his head.
Gee Whiz!
The man has riz.
His arm draws back
A big bootjack–
A loud swish,
Squish!
“What’s that?”
A dead cat.
