GUEST POST // A Change by Spahr Plops

Don’t let gray
get grayer
graver could go
but I hope for
a reddy heady
bun babble about
anything peelable like
clementine counters

She set a coaster
and a cup of sweet
southern, lime over
lemon – already had
freshly started morning
sips of perky breath
blown my way

My direction
eventually persuaded
realized wrongful waste
thanks to her taste
full of ambiance

But mostly smiled then
because she said
“Don’t be such an ass”

  1. Thank you so much Tia! This was a really great surprise, made me feel special on a murky morning 🙂
You tagged it very appropriately. But I’m shocked you admired this one above others this much. It’s always fascinating what piques someones interest. Though I guess this one is unusually happier than others I post, so maybe that’s why?

    • Michael, I enjoy every your poem!
      Why this one? I don’t know 😛

If I tried to pick something particular on your blog, I would stuck… So, I’m happy that this poem decided to pick me!
And your ‘unusually happiness’ was a great bonus, icing on the cake… but not a shaping factor 🙂

Yes, yes, it's a masterpiece! That's why I stole and posted this one!

Oh… Can you keep secrets, John? I want to share one with you 😛
      We're lucky!
We'll become witnesses of the first collaboration of Ry and Michael very soon! OMG! I just can't wait to see!

    • YAY! Me too!
I’m not too sure how Michael feels this incredible poem… But my tags were ‘Happiness’, ‘Smile’… I was happy and smiled when I read this one!
      I couldn’t restrain myself… I made the guest post!

OMG! You were my guest only once! I should fix this omission 😛
