Hey tony, pffa is the poetry free for all. A brilliant critical forum for poets. Someone mentioned napowrimo, which I thought was specific to pffa but obviously not. Cheers.
When my older daughter went to college, her sister and I would send them because we missed her…15 years ago. Then I started sending them to friends who were sick and stuck in the house, and it just became a habit. I don’t even need a reason; or maybe just the postcard reminds me of someone, so I send it to them. I like real mail myself, although I can’t remember the last time someone actually wrote me a letter!
Don’t get me started on Greenpeace…. Aside from that, I like the postcard illustration and poem combo. It shows off both of your strengths to great advantage.
I love this- i just do.

Thank you, Diahann. I’m glad Tati thought of this idea in the first place. 🙂

This is marvelous, Tony–love the postcard idea–it would be great to use for NaPoWriMo in April!

I send them all the time (with appropriate quotes). People still love to get mail…but I’ll have to think of a way to incorporate some poetry. (K)

Tony, the first four lines I laughed and then read the next two. So here, and forgive me, both humor and a serious topic well captured.

Tammy, I agree. I think Tati straddles those two extremes so well! 😀

Tati 🙂 I get confused here sorry. And yes, I totally agree!

Ha ha ha! No, it really isn’t a problem. Creatively speaking it does feel like we’ve become a weird kind of gestalt entity lately! 😛
