I actually once wrote a whole month of poems dedicated to a woman who had slit her wrist while cooking food…while she laid on ground…this reminded me of it…
Tony… I think there may be something far more significant re you Six Word Story project. Are you saying that anyone who’s ever expressed honest human feelings in such a minimalist way is actually an author? I consider that to be empowering. That makes even a baby who has just strung six words together to form her/his first sentence a literary marvel. Or am I reading far too much into something that’s just supposed to be for the fun of it?
I think it’s both, Tom. Why can’t it be a profound rite of passage (as it were) for a baby to string something of their own story together for the first time? I agree! But, yes, it can also be just a bit of fun. It depends on people and context really. 😛
