Oops!… We Did It Again (Wardrobe (Half Empty or Full?))

Erm… hullo there. (This is rather awkward…)

Dear Reader, the stuff that was originally posted here has been removed.

We have done this because said stuff has since been included in one of our published books. We hope you’ll believe us when we say we’re not trying to be stingy. No, this has been done to honour the people who have already spent their hard-earned money on our eBook creations.*

If, however, for some reason you’re unable to buy one of our books, and feel you’ll die without seeing this piece of writing, then please contact us via admin@unbolt.me. We won’t allow our Dear Readers to fade away in the dark. We’ll send you the piece in question, and it will be absolutely free. All you need do is ask.

* Of course, we would be like two happy puppies if you too decided to buy one of our books.

  1. i love to discover other’s explorations of the freedom contained in the constraints of 5-7-5. I believe that skill, artistry, whatever we want to call it, is vividly displayed here- shining even when working inside such a stringent structure as haiku (in counting, not in rhyming) and I revel in the poignant emotion these few words are able to tug from my heart almost effortlessly. Brava, dear.

  2. Hi Unbolt, thanks for following my blog. I have been following yours for awhile, but I can’t remember if I ever thanked you. I have tried to keep up with your posts, but it’s hard to read everything and write, will get to everything eventually. Love your writing by the way.

    • We thank you, Kathy! And yes, it is rather difficult keeping up with everyone’s posts, don’t you find? But don’t worry… we’re not going anywhere any time soon, so take all the time you need! 🙂

  3. Is it weird when you read something terribly sad and your brain just goes “YES”. Maybe it just means I’m a terribly sad person. Anyway, I loved this, especially the choice to forgo punctuation and capitalization. Brilliant.

    • No, it’s not weird at all, Serena. I think many of us can relate to the feelings portrayed in this short poem, even if the details of our lives haven’t played out in the same way. Thanks so much for reading. I know Tati appreciates it too. 🙂
