I love how you play with the English language Tati. Such an original and thought provoking piece.

It certainly is, Mark, but then Tati’s a bit of an original herself. No mediocrity here! 😉

Always a little different … always lines that find a way to show as well as tell …

She’s multi-faceted, our Tati! 😀

This is great not a surprise because it was written by your talent. You are a good poet

She really is. Tati has a way of distilling such deep emotions and insights down into just a fistful of words. It’s amazing! 😀

What’s with the red face, are you shy?

Just blushing because your compliments are quite lovely! 😀

Oh ok, sweet face. I believe in complimenting people. If you’re a good person or have done something good it should be acknowledged. I like to make people feel good. 🙂

I really appreciate that you do this, Morgan. The world is full of such negativity as it is that it’s nice when someone such as yourself takes the time to counter that with such kind words. 😀

The world is full of negative things. People forget that kindness goes a very long way. With just one word you can help someone. Thank you for your kindness it means a lot to me sweet face. 🙂 I like calling you that

You’re very kind to call me that too. My face has been called far worse things, I can tell you! 😀

Well done listen to mean words. You are a sweetheart with a sweet face. Hugs and kisses 🙂

Thank you, Morgan. I’ll be sure not to listen to mean words in future! Hugs! 😀

Is it bad that I like and appreciate this, but do not necessarily understand? Good job! Would you be kind enough to provide a back story or something?

There’s no shame in not understanding something, my friend. If anything, I like that you can admit this which is something a lot of people won’t do. We’re glad you still enjoyed it though! As for an explanation, it might be best if I let Tati provide that, given that she’s the author of this piece. 😀

I swears Tati is an alter ego. 😉

To be honest, I have often wondered if people were viewing her as such. I might need to prod her into making a video or voice recording or something, just to prove that she’s a real, living, breathing poetess of awesomeness! 😛

Nice play on words, isn’t it? 😛

I love this! The wordplay is like a graceful dance over the surface of the quicksand.

Like someone figure skating as light as air over it, yes? That’s a good way of putting it, Nadia. 🙂

Yes. The tension between danger and grace is beautiful.
Funny, I read this quite differently until I followed the link to your poem. 🙂
