Simplicity sometimes is the deepest kind of poetry, actually. I can well imagine it took years to write.

I think partly it was because of the simplicity that it took so long. I guess I didn’t trust that approach for the longest time! It paid off though. 😛

This could be set to music. It has great rhythm. I can hear it sung call and response style with Mick Jagger doing the vocals and backed up by Muddy Waters. Oh yeah.
