GUEST POST // Black Lake by Purple Creature

My heartbeat quickens, the skin on my body tingles,
Like the morning sunrise, my body is alive…
From my toes, upward to my chiseled legs
I feel electricity surge through my body…
When I close my eyes,
I can feel the blood surging through all parts of my body…
I steady my breath…
I slowly ascend into the dark still waters of the black lake.
I am alone, yet I feel all things around me, and it comforts me.
I am one with nature, and she with me…
As I swim to the deepest part, small ripples, become bigger ripples,
I am announcing myself to the majestic black lake.
The water, is cool on my naked body, it relaxes me.
My body is now one with the lake, we belong to each other…
Floating on my back, I feel all my blood pulsating through me…
My cock, my manhood, is erect and hard…
I am one with nature, and she with me.
I close my eyes, as I hear a faint noise approach, getting louder.
Now perched on my Manhood, is the Goliath Birdwing butterfly.
Beautiful and elegant is her body, our eyes are transfixed on each other…
She smiles, opens her mouth, bites off my manhood, and flies away into the darkness.
We have now become one… We are now Symbiotic with each other…
I exhale my last breath, and descend into the depths of the majestic black lake…
I am one with nature and she with me…
Forever more…

darwinian (heads & tails)

make your dogmatic statements
fluff your tail
you, who prefer understatement
and always fail

your beautiful love clique
it twists the knife
so i’ve learned not to look
i wanted to be one of you
but you made me a heretic

leave this moebius food chain
fill the blanks
you, who’s accustomed to refrain
can’t break the bank!

you likeminded super beings in
your plush echo chamber of
gonging egos make me sick
you make me want to grub for
transcendence in dirt (and i have to)

stop your lazy genetic drift
cut a strip
don’t count on the allel shrift
evolve, crip!

there’s pluck and plesh inside me
and the horizon is within my reach
you’ve forced me to evolve or die
so in the end it doesn’t matter
i’ll be gone and you won’t find me

aubade (enjoy your bath)

soft had been the first foot to cross the threshold that year
so in her honour he dabbed whiff behind his stale ears
and tho’ he weren’t dish enough to possess an std
he still sought to ward off the past with its very near teeth
and risk love on the rebound

swilling eschatology in the bottom of root beer floats
he said, “i know what i’m not but still would you let me drain your moat?
for i would pass those tensile battlements you have stacked there atop
and take you on the sectional and the morrows yonder that”
a new love begging to be found

it said, “hey! do you live here?
won’t you raise a toast to this tired earth with me?
yeah, let’s do, let’s begin anew, jowl to cheek”

the maiden of maidan’s flight had taken her from war to here
she said, “there must never be other winters on fire, nor my soul in fear
no dissolving in silence for the wronging key in the wronging slot
no waitings upon landings, yeah, let’s pop the champers and pity buss
if we don’t live then we can’t die”

she held up a twig waiver in lieu of divining his soul by rote
fallen leaves bespecked her face with their many hidden unsung notes
there was no pretext other than her, “looky here, the branch with no words”
he begged, “don’t be a dream”, she said, “you left behind your birch switch”
finally! a pretext to which to hie

love said, “hey! could we live here?
won’t you raise a toast to this tired earth with me?
yeah, let’s do, let’s begin anew, jowl to cheek”

in moscow there is a street of the same name and apartment tier
as the one in leningrad where a clock strikes twelve for any who will hear
is it time for a new year? let’s unlearn the restrainment of our true feelings!
embrace the irony of a fate that flies in the face of impermanence
so they bathed together unashamed

Ripening

Did you not compel me
with your fertile landscape
to conceive a thought
of acquiescence
That I may touch heaven
if only for an hour
as your ripening buds
surrendered to my touch
Did you not propel me
with your servile hand to nape
to embolden in need
this quickening
An action birthed
with a pregnant pause
as your seasons
unfolded before me

You did not repel me
But let me lay a while
In your delicate layers
As we blossomed together
