Absolutely, I agree, short verse does give way to an opportunity of deep reflection. Which I like very much, I think it is where I live most, but not all of the time.

My Pleasure. I was once in the same shoes but got habituated gradually when I started acting to compliments instead of reacting to them. Accept them graciously and the job is done.
