The last two lines are magically romantic and seals the two characters with love. 🙂 “she forgets own name” – is this because she is suffering from an illness?

Yes, that’s how I read it, deydebs. I think she may even have a drug problem. It’s a poem that certainly gives one food for thought, but is also very romantic at the end. 🙂

I always enjoy your poems and appreciate your support. 🙂 This may be a little out of your comfort zone. It is my second one in less than ten days. I want to see if you are up for it…:) I nominated you for a Quote Challenge https://wwwpalfitness.wordpress.com/2015/11/17/3-day-quote-challenge-day-1-on-my-second-of-these/

I love sitting on park benches and watching humanity go by. I find myself making up a story for each person that wanders through my field of vision. It’s fun! Thanks heaps for visiting and leaving us a comment! 😀

Bloody hell – I admire every word & how you’ve arranged each phrase. Even “Barathrum” (capitalise pl) 😊 – that send me rushing to Search. Right from the first stanza I was captured. I didn’t really care about what might happen in the end – Twas the journey that gripped me.
Many many thanks

I agree with you, Paul. Tati’s poetry just gets better and better the more she grows comfortable with the English language. And, yeah, I think it’s the journey that counts here, not necessarily how it ends. I think I should look at it that way too…

Paul, I wondered this too, so I did a bit of digging. This is what I unearthed. Hopefully it will be of some help to you? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phencyclidine 🙂

Tati will be so pleased to read this. The sweet factor was definitely what she was aiming for this one, Chief. 😀
