I just bought a kit from Amazon that has a bit of everything in it just so I can experiment with charcoal, markers, colored pencils, various pencils textures and tones, ETC. It was only $23.00, so it’s not got EVERYTHING, but great starter kit with which to experiment!
That’s an excellent place to start as it will allow you to experiment until you find the style and process that works for you. Good on you for taking this journey! I have no doubt you’ll find it intensely rewarding!
I was going to ask the same question because I like the dream-like colors, and am still learning about different mediums and shading techniques. Great job on this artwork, “Unbolt Me”!
