‘To open or unfasten by withdrawing a bolt.’ (Merriam-Webster)
Why ‘unbolt’?
Like introverts everywhere we prefer to sit inside our dark private sheds. And while we may prefer to hide our writings inside big wooden chests – behind bolt and bar – the time comes when those chests overflow. It’s time to unbolt, to open the chests. It’s time to show what is hidden.
You probably won’t find here brightly colored pictures, hit songs, etc. We want to keep a focus on the texts. We want to give absolute freedom for your inner vision because we trust you completely, dear Readers.
We want to create an adventure for you. There are no dead-ends or wrong turns. Every click is teleportation, a turn of the key and another open door for you. We call upon you to not be shy! You can touch, click and explore every nook here!
We also recommend that you pay attention to the comments. Sometimes a discussion below the main post is no less interesting than the post itself. We promise that you’ll find verses and prose there, brightly colored pictures, hit songs, etc. Our dearest Writers and Readers are always creative!
Okay… enough of the introduction. Are you ready for your first click?
(A tip for those who don’t like the Brownian motion and prefer to go according to a more accurate plan.) The menu with Categories is hidden to the left under the small striped square. It’s a pretty handy way to navigate here.

Thank you for liking my thought for today. I started by blog at the direction of my neurologist after suffering from a stroke almost 5 years ago (February 17th is the anniversary) to make my mind remember and relearn my vocabulary. The Cardio Vascular Accident (I love this term, it is like my brain slipped on a icy surface and fell into a ditch), left me with knowing what I wanted to say, but unable to find the words to express it to others.
The blog also helps me cope with crap that bugs me about the world as an outlet for feelings. Anyway, come on back anytime, I rarely find myself lacking something to say. 😉 TRI

This is a fantastic page! It made me smile just reading the intro. I am an introvert and a lifelong writer, and the space in which I live is most definitely overflowing with words and for sure, a fire hazard. I have found that my head is now overflowing with words, ideas, images, stories and songs after a long spell of disaster and depression in my life. I became completely disillusioned and was unable to release any of my creativity. That is why I started my blog. I know I have something to say, to share, to express that will benefit me, and I hope will help someone else. I look forward to clicking all over your blog, exploring and engaging.

Thank you, so much! That really means so much to me. Since I started my blog I have felt so renewed and encouraged by so many people here at WordPress. I am so thankful for the ability to share myself and to be able to experience so much of what other people have to offer. It has only been a month, but already I feel lighter, more free, less isolated and more productive. So, thank you, for the encouragement, I am grateful.

We’re all in this together, Erin. And isn’t it wonderful how much blogging can actually help us? I know Tati and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🙂

Tetiana… You are the first to like my spanking new blog! I feel you handed me a key to unbolt my chest of hidden written treasures. This page especially captures my inner ‘YES!’ I have kept my thoughts to myself long enough. Time to let them breathe. Time to let life in. Time to begin! Thanks for the silent encouragement…
