Why ‘unbolt’?

Like introverts everywhere we prefer to sit inside our dark private sheds. And while we may prefer to hide our writings inside big wooden chests – behind bolt and bar – the time comes when those chests overflow. It’s time to unbolt, to open the chests. It’s time to show what is hidden.

You probably won’t find here brightly colored pictures, hit songs, etc. We want to keep a focus on the texts. We want to give absolute freedom for your inner vision because we trust you completely, dear Readers.

We want to create an adventure for you. There are no dead-ends or wrong turns. Every click is teleportation, a turn of the key and another open door for you. We call upon you to not be shy! You can touch, click and explore every nook here!

We also recommend that you pay attention to the comments. Sometimes a discussion below the main post is no less interesting than the post itself. We promise that you’ll find verses and prose there, brightly colored pictures, hit songs, etc. Our dearest Writers and Readers are always creative!

  4. Having only ever been through a WordPress blog or two not in mere passing since I started my own a couple weeks ago, I didn’t expect to actually find any blogs I actually would want to follow.

    My venture into the the clunky functionality of a free WordPress blog and its poor design, so-called customizing web app to style myself a writer of blogs was a definitely selfishly absorbed plan of action. I figured no one would ever read me (still do not [feel bothered by this]), and for now, am liking it that way. But yes, I have been imagining that anyone blogging with this service was probably never spending time reading blogs with so much to write about themselves. Maybe that’s just how I am sometimes.

    But, I actually will follow this blog and enjoy your vibes (although I’m not certain if it’s only the two of you, or a collective spoken of).

    Anyway, your opening sentiment is very much aligned with what I’m doing. I’m finally going to start taking all the trash I’ve been writing all my life and put it up somewhere publicly, because I can and it’s important that I do. Because it doesn’t matter if I write trash. I like to do it.

    • That you like to do it is a most excellent place to start, Shane. That’s definitely why Tati and I do it (yes, it’s just the two of us). We’re quite passionate about what we do, and we aim to do this for as long as we are able. And, you’re right, it isn’t easy to customise WP blogs to exactly the way one’d want them, so it forces one to get a little bit more creative. Not easy, quite frankly.     • thank you. i won’t always have time to wrote bit I always eventually will i used to do this, but not in a public site but to a small audience of connected loosely.

My poor brain just doesn’t function at that level of artistic ability but I sure am able to admire it. Your writing is also clever and intelligent. Thanks for putting together an awesome blog that I can be jealous of. 😉 Great work and I am following you! In the internet, totally normal way, not the creepy, stalky kind of way.
