GUEST POST // Alone by Purple Creature

quietness fills the air
all I hear are my footsteps
all I see is the mist of air leaving my mouth
my breathing is becoming labored
my knees are hurting
my side has knife stabbing pains
all this is becoming white noise
the pain is getting worse
I smile
because I know it will be stopping soon
everything will be stopping soon
I have been slowly climbing a tall mountain
my tall mountain
I have been climbing it for years it seems
I can see the mountain top
my pulse quickens
a gasp is let out
I am at the precipice of nirvana
there is no one here for me
I am alone
I quicken my pace to a full sprint
in a second I will have reached the mountain top
and will full on leap off it
finally
my destiny
finally
hopefully
there will be people on the other side waiting for me
hello and goodbye world
thanks for nothing
because you gave me nothing

This Kind of Pleasure ~ The one awfully cool collaboration

I love collaborations.
I do love collaborations.
I’m happy and grateful for my amazing co-authors.

Kasey Stafford. (How are you, Kasey? It’s been a long time since I’ve heard from you… I hope you’re OK!)

Michael Spahr. (Michael, I’m so sorry about the delay with my letter! I’ll finish this post and run into my e-mail box!)

Tony Single. (Well… I should say something now… ahem… ahem… Tony! YOU ROCK! Yes. I’m Captain Obvious… LOL!)

Ry Hakari. (Ry! My dear Scourged Red-Winged Blackbird! Please, visit your FB-nest!)

You’re my Gurus, guys. I bow my head and touch your feet. I’m your humble apprentice. Thank you for this honor to work with you! It was funny and sad, philosophical and playful, innocent and obscene… but it was awesome always.

I remember my every collaboration. Honestly! Every collaboration is special. I hope my lessons will last for a long time… But today… Yes.

A big day!

What can I say about Gregory? Hmmm… He’s a tall blue-eyed blonde and a lawyer, he plays tennis and likes yodeling… LOL! Did you swallow that bullshit? NO! I’m kidding, of course. I know nothing about Gregory except the fact that he has a really cool name (you do love HOUSE M.D., don’t you?) and he writes mind-blowing poems.

So… let me introduce you our common effort. I hope you enjoy this little poetical trip. And one last thing before you start… Hey! Don’t use drugs, guys! It’s not cool! Read poems! It’s the fashion at present!

She doesn’t attempt to untangle
The dreams locked within the strands of her hair
She stares at the sky waiting for something…
She sees how Draco flirts with Lesser Bear
Playing the starry triangle

A loose smile creeps upon her face
Like a dark shadow confined to a peculiar dance
Her mind and emotions traipse confusions’ paradise.
Lesser Bear gives Draco a disdainful look askance
Touching the collar with jet lace

He doesn’t witness her transition
Her body contracting, scaling, slithering,
Her whisper-hiss’s about Baudelaire, Hughes & Hughes…
Syphilitic Les Fleurs du mal are withering…
No one can be her physician

He realizes too late
Her body has coiled from his feet to his waist
Look of love: Unorthodox pleasure in horror…
Air is filled with a subtle hashish aftertaste…
Barbed pinions start to gyrate

A meditation of some form is due
Polka dot scales, Hades blue, this poetic voodo
He collapses elated to notice an audience entranced…
Even your high celestial status can’t protect from the hoodoo
Subtle laces sink into Draco’s bloody goo…

Haiku King & Tan’ka Queen (Tanka) ~ The ∞ ‘21 Shades of Blue’ collaboration

Broken, unspoken
not mending round the bending
over backwards turns…

I close my self-harmed blind eyes.
It’s my way to feel alive.

I stared at you, too
with the other lights in my
starry-eyed skyline…

My carmine, acid-burned tips
are thrilled to death to touch you.

But they’d stop me cold,
I tremble imagining
true human contact…
Long-distance indifference
is all I’m familiar with.

I over-fatigue
myself with affined-distance
contacts. A cold space
makes me warm. I feel a blade
which tickles my blepharons.

Vulnerable codes
of casual ciphers, cracked
Flirts, being known hurts…

Now I’ve heard a fucking chord…
Hallelujah… hell, I hack!

Lady Scissorhands,
with paper white skin, I know.
I’m Inside-out Man….

Blunt edges give much more fun
with unpicking blue and red.

Thorns

I can’t bear your yells, and nobody could stand.
I’m blocking your mouth with my naked hand.

How painful! I’m trying to keep my calm.
Not huge thorns… your barbed words are piercing my palm.

GUEST POST // Me by Purple Creature

Life is almost over now, pain, sorrow, and regret are hanging around more now, growing impatient, wanting to take over me… I am tired… I want to give in…

It’s almost over… I am like a leaf that has turned brown and withered, and is now has falling from a tree. There is only one path it can follow; it may get lucky for a few fleeting moments and get caught in a gust of wind, that will delay the inevitable, a cruel joke is all that turns out to be, for the end is near for that leaf… Its path will end when it hits the soil and gets slowly absorbed into mother earth to be no more… Hours drag on now, people come and go, but pay me no mind… I am a burden, I represent all that they hate. Memories are slowly fading, I feel cold… I pray this night will be my last… Life has become cruel, and useless to ‘ME’… but yet I go on… why? I am alone, tired and lonely. I am invisible… If only someone would have seen ‘ME’ for who I am, and not for who I should be. If only kids at school would have accepted ‘ME’ as I am, and not pick on how I look. If only my parents would talk to ‘ME’ and not at ‘ME’… Sixteen will never be for ‘ME’, good bye world… I should of never been in the first place… In the end there is only ‘ME’, and I choose no longer to be…
